Safety & Compliance

Compliance is the baseline, not a selling point

Procurement teams need documentation before they can award freight. Here is exactly how we operate, and what we will send you.

USDOT registration

Vantage Point Logistics Group LLC is registered under USDOT 6869724 and operates as a Florida intrastate commercial freight carrier. Registration details and company documentation are provided with our carrier packet during vendor onboarding.

  • USDOT 6869724
  • Florida intrastate freight operations
  • Non-hazardous freight only
  • Carrier packet supplied for procurement review

Insurance

Auto liability and cargo coverage are maintained continuously. Certificates of insurance are issued directly to your procurement or risk team on request, with additional insured or waiver language where required.

  • Commercial auto liability
  • Motor truck cargo coverage
  • Certificates issued on request

Driver standards

Drivers are qualified against FMCSA requirements before they take a load, and monitored continuously afterward. We hire for judgment, not just a CDL.

  • Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
  • MVR review and pre-employment screening
  • DOT drug and alcohol program participation
  • Hours-of-service and ELD compliance
  • Securement training for open-deck and oversize freight

Cargo care

Securement is planned per load, not improvised at the dock. Equipment is inspected before dispatch and re-checked in transit as required.

  • Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • FMCSA-compliant securement for steel, lumber and machinery
  • Tarps, edge protection, chains, straps and dunnage carried on board
  • Documented BOL, seal and delivery paperwork
